The aim is to simplify future releases, inject more automation, and reduce human error.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>parrot-menu<\/strong> now exposes quick-launchers for Sliver, Rocket, and other newcomers, making discovery of fresh tooling a one-click affair.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A longstanding quirk in <strong>parrot-core<\/strong> that left <code>$HOME<\/code> path completion unreliable has been ironed out, while the &#8220;<em>\/root<\/em>&#8221; directory is no longer world-readable\u2014closing an avoidable privacy gap.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>parrot-firefox-profiles<\/strong> package adds a smart <code>dpkg<\/code> trigger: every time an upstream Firefox update overwrites &#8220;<em>distribution.ini<\/em>,&#8221; Parrot automatically restores its hardened config so users don\u2019t have to.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Lastly, with version 6.4 in place, the team is already eyeing Parrot 7.0, which will be entirely rebased on Debian 13 (Trixie).
