Getting answers is a hit and miss situation. Though I have tested Sparky in the past, I have stayed away from any distro (PCLinuxOS comes to mind) which does not have at least several developers to back it up.

It is very lightweight and fast without giving anything up. About the only semi-rolling release I have used that over years has not broken a needed software with an update. It also has some great features like being able to write a persistence USB that leaves you take Sparky with you in your pocket.

It’s forum is not great though, so I wouldn’t recommend Sparky for newbies. Not many questions or answers on the forum.
