There’s more competition from Ti, Qualcomm, Nvidia, China pi clones and even AMD nowadays. ARM Linux distro has normalized it all. Unless RPi has a special SDK (like Arduino) or beats on price point (not much anymore) it’s just a upgrade like everyone else in the overcrowded ARM world. I’m moving into RISC V for stability and flops/watt.

I’ve been waiting on some CM4 units for over a year – the only reason I didn’t cancel the order is because the vendor only has a 30 day order cancellation period.
